"Good basics, just wish there were more options"
I had a decent experience with Millbrook Tack. They had some solid basics and I was able to find a few things I needed without much trouble. The only thing is the selection felt a little limited, especially when it came to different sizes and brands. Overall, not bad at all, I just would’ve liked a bit more to choose from.

"I tried to exchange a pair..."
I tried to exchange a pair of boots for a different size, the whole thing was way more frustrating than it needed to be. It took days to get replies to my emails, and when they did respond, it was just the same canned “sorry for the inconvenience” type of message that didn’t actually help. I also had to pay for return shipping myself, and my refund still hasn’t shown up. At this point, I don’t see myself ordering from them again.

"Special order turned into more of a hassle than I expected"
I placed a special order maybe I should’ve known it might be more complicated, but the whole process felt disorganized. I kept having to follow up just to get updates, which got frustrating after a while. Maybe I was expecting too much, but it shouldn’t have felt like that much work on my end. I don’t think I’d do a special order with them again.

Am I the only one who feels like tack questions should be easy for the staff? They were friendly and helped as much as they could, but there were a couple things they seemed unsure about. Not a bad experience, just wish they had been a little more confident with the details

"Good deals, shipping was fine"
I grabbed a few things during a promo and ended up saving some money, which was nice. Shipping wasn’t exactly lightning fast, but it wasn’t bad either and everything showed up in good shape.

"Pretty helpful with saddle fit advice"
I wasn’t totally sure what I was looking for with fitting a saddle for my mare, so I sent over a few photos for advice. They got back to me with a clear reply — not immediately, but it was reasonable enough. The advice seemed to make sense and definitely helped me feel less like I was just guessing. I did have to follow up once, which is why I’d take off a star, but overall I’d say it was a good experience.

"My order took way too long to..."
My order took way too long to arrive, and the most frustrating part was that nobody seemed to clearly take ownership of what was going on. I kept feeling like I was being passed around without a straight answer. Not a great experience, and I don’t think I’d order again

"My order felt really carelessly handled"
I was frustrated when my order arrived because the size was wrong and one of the items was missing. I checked my receipt again just to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake, but everything was listed correctly there. It felt like my order wasn’t paid attention to, which is upsetting when you’re paying for something and expecting it to be right...

I was bummed when I checked out the prices on millbrooktack.com. A lot of the stuff seemed way pricier than I expected, and I just wasn’t seeing the value, ya know? Maybe it’s fine for some folks, but for me, it’s kinda hard to justify dropping that much cash...

"Refund Has Been a Real Hassle"
I’m frustrated with this whole refund process. It’s been dragging on way longer than it should, and even now it still doesn’t seem fully sorted out. I get that things can take a little time, but this has been really disappointing and makes me hesitant to deal with them again.

"Packaging was disappointing"
So, my order showed up in this really flimsy box with, like, hardly any padding inside. Everything was kind of shifting around, and one of the items ended up with marks on it. not really what I expected. They definitely need to do a better job packing things before shipping them out

"Quick replies and really helpful"
I had a question about sizing before I ordered, so I messaged Millbrook Tack and figured I’d be waiting a while, because isn’t that usually how it goes?? But they got back to me quickly, and the answer was actually clear and useful. They didn’t make me feel silly for asking either, which I really appreciated.
I had one more follow-up after I placed the order and they answered that fast too. Just genuinely nice customer service, no hassle, no weird back-and-forth. Would I order from them again?? Definitely

"Pretty close sizing overall"
Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous about ordering a bridle and girth online, but the Millbrook Tack sizing chart ended up being close for my horse. The bridle fit well after I made a few hole adjustments, and the girth was just a tiny bit snug. Overall I’m happy with the purchase, I just wish the sizing notes had a little more detail to help narrow things down.

"I had a easy time shopping..."
I had a easy time shopping on Millbrook Tack. The site felt simple to figure out, like the categories were where I expected them to be, the product pages had the basics I wanted, and I didn’t have to click around forever just to find details like sizing, materials, colors, or availability. Checkout was also straightforward, nothing confusing or overly complicated, which I always appreciate. The only small issues were that a few pages loaded a little slow for me, and I wish the filters were better, like being able to narrow things down more by size, brand, price, type, or whatever else. But overall, it was a good shopping experience and I’d use the site again

"Decent tack shop, a bit hit and miss"
I ordered a bridle and a few grooming bits from here. Most of the product info was easy enough to follow, though the sizing part could’ve been clearer, especially with that one. The quality seems okay for what I paid, nothing amazing but not bad either. Delivery was a bit slower than I thought it’d be. Overall, it was fine and I’d maybe order again if I needed something.

"Good brands, but stock can be hit or miss"
They do carry some solid tack brands, which I appreciate, but a few of the items I had my eye on were out of stock. The site is easy enough to use, but I kind of had to trust my instinct and go with a backup option. Overall, it’s decent, I just wish the availability was a bit more consistent.
